Jupiter Mines joined more than 200 delegates from 109 companies across 35 countries at the International Manganese Institute's 50th Annual Conference in Brazil - the world's largest manganese industry event.
 
The conference brought together participants from the entire manganese value chain, including miners, alloy, metal and chemical producers, traders and representatives from the steel and battery sectors.
 
CEO Brad Rogers was invited to present on South African manganese supply trends, addressing the dynamics shaping the sector: logistics, market conditions, and the critical role of reliable, cost-competitive production in meeting global demand. Brad also highlighted Tshipi as one of the world's leading manganese operations, with a remaining mine life of more than 100 years, and a proven track record in supporting global supply.
 
The session generated strong engagement, with audience questions centred on ore grade management, industry consolidation and the importance of product quality in future supply.
